Scholarships for Germany

DAAD Scholarships

This scholarship is offered by The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The grant is available for pursuing a Master's/PhD at the Top German Universities. The quantum of the grant is 934 Euros for students and 1200-1300 Euros for doctoral/PhD students per month.

Erasmus+

In collaboration with the European Commission, Erasmus+ is the biggest benefactor of educational grants. They provide international students with the required funds for further education in Europe. The quantum of grants for a student in Germany is 1400 Euros per month (max. 24 months).

Deutschland Stipendium National Scholarship Programme

The government and private companies jointly fund this scholarship program. It is commonly granted for 2 semesters, but proving merit is extendable for the entire duration of the study. The quantum of the grant is approximately 300 Euros per month.

MAWISTA Scholarship

It is a fully funded scholarship awarded to international students studying in Germany while caring for a child. The quantum of this grant is €7,200 in total for 2 semesters.

Heinrich Boll Scholarships in Germany for International Students

Awarded to international students pursuing their Masters or post-doctoral program in Germany. The students must have completed their undergraduate course in a different country. It is amongst the fully funded scholarships for international students.
