It is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which is aimed at offering all forms of support to international students who want to pursue their studies in Italy. The program is fully accompanied by tuition fees, health insurance coverage, and a €900 monthly stipend, paid quarterly. The scholarship is offered for studies in Master's and Ph.D. courses and research projects. The age limit for this fellowship is 28 years for a master's, 30 years for a Ph.D., and 40 years for the research project. Applicants must satisfy language proficiency in either Italian or English, depending on the course for which they intend to apply. Application Deadline: The application deadline is once every year, usually around July 13.
Bocconi Merit and International Awards
It is for international students who have been admitted to their undergraduate or graduate programs. This scholarship waives 50% of the full tuition fee, which amounts to €6,000 per year. This scholarship is available to first-year admitted students in any Bachelor's or Master's program at Bocconi University. The selection will be based on academic achievements. The application deadline is usually April or May annually.
The Padua International Excellence Scholarship Program
It is for international students who have completed their secondary education or Bachelor's degree outside of Italy. The program involves studying at the University of Padua and enjoying a tuition fee waiver plus a €8,000 subsistence allowance. The scholarship offers to be awarded will reach as many as 43 students looking to pursue Bachelor's or Master's courses in English-taught programs. The applicants should not have Italian citizenship and should apply by February or March of each year.
University of Bologna Study Grants
These grants are available for foreign students enrolled in first-, single-, or second-cycle degree programs at the University of Bologna. For the First and Single Cycle programs, this includes three study grants worth €11,059 and full tuition fee waivers amounting to €20,000. The grant for Second Cycle programs involves fifteen study grants of an equal amount of €11,059, along with full tuition fee waivers amounting to €80,000. These include: he must have a relevant degree, must not be above 30 years old, an application before the end of March or April of every year.
